Facility Name Change!
Effective January 1, 2011, the Leduc & District Regional Landfill changed its name to the Leduc & District Regional Waste Management Facility. The renaming and designation as a Waste Management Facility is consistent with the Leduc and District Regional Waste Management Authority’s increased emphasis on sustainability and waste diversion program development. What can I bring to the facility?

The Leduc & District Regional Waste Management Facility is a Class II facility that accepts non-harzardous materials.

What does the facility charge?

Charges depend on the type on material you are bringing and where you reside. Please click here for the current rate schedule.

All charges are payable by cash or cheque at the time of the haul.

Who do I call about my garbage collection?

If you have questions regarding your residential curbside waste collection, please contact your local municipal office or visit them online.

What materials can I take from the Facility?

The Leduc & District Regional Waste Management Facility operates a "Take it or Leave it" program in the Material Recovery Facility.

This designated area allows residents to drop off of pick up items still that can still be put to use and keep these items from being landfilled.

The designated "Take it or Leave it" area is the only area of the landfill from which materials can be taken.

Scavenging in any other area of the facility is strictly prohibited.
